Signs of Spring at Town Square (Compressed Photo Assignment)

It is pretty much cliche to write about how beautiful the weather is around here, but the fact remains, this weekend WAS exquisite! I knew I wanted to spend some time outdoors. I haven't been to Town Square in over 5 years, so I was curious to see the carousel. Even though the park was fairly desolate, and few blooms were to be found, I did find a couple of daffodils that were my sign that spring is coming soon.

Memorial Ride At Zion Harley-Davidson

Last Saturday, January 8, 2014, a group of friends put together a bike run and a concert in memorial of my dad, who passed away one month ago. The bike run ended at the Zion Harley-Davidson shop in Hurricane, Utah, where local band Mr. Hyde played a two hour show of songs Dad loved.  The members of Mr. Hyde were very close friends with Dad: he would help them behind the set, move equipment, and help promote shows. Dad loved people and he loved it when his friends and family were together and having fun.
